1. Service provider
OBVIETIQUETA UNIPESSOAL LDA, company number 515950491, with registered office at Rua da Bolívia 72, Fração JK, 9000-087 Funchal, Portugal, reachable at geral@myofficeonline.eu and +351 933 371 557, hereinafter MyOffice Online.
2. Purpose
These terms govern the provision of an address for use as registered office and tax domicile, together with the reception, safekeeping and handling of mail addressed to the client.
3. Who can subscribe
The service is intended for companies, branches and associations, which may state the address as their registered office and tax domicile. Individuals may use the address as a professional or commercial address, but not as their tax domicile, since article 19 of the Portuguese General Tax Law requires the habitual residence.
4. Prices and precedence of the contract
The applicable prices are those published on the website at the time of subscription and those set out in the contract signed with the client. They are due per domiciled entity and exclude VAT at the applicable rate. Pay-as-you-go services are invoiced according to the price list in force at the time of use.
These terms set out the general conditions of the service. The particular conditions — including the plan, price, payment frequency and method, mail handling and forwarding conditions and the deadlines applicable on termination — are those set out in the contract signed with the client, which prevails over these terms in the event of any discrepancy.
5. Term and renewal
The contract runs for one year from activation and renews automatically for equal and successive periods, unless either party gives written notice at least 30 days before the end of the current period.
6. Payment
Payment frequency, method and dates are those set out in the contract. Late payment entitles MyOffice Online to suspend the service, including mail reception, after giving prior notice to the client.
7. Mail
MyOffice Online receives and logs mail addressed to the client at the provided address, including registered and signed-for post, and notifies the client by email on every delivery. Storage periods, collection conditions and forwarding by post, at the client's expense, are those set out in the contract. Once the storage period ends without collection or forwarding instructions, mail may be returned to sender or securely destroyed.
8. Client obligations
- Provide true and complete information and keep it up to date, notifying any change;
- Provide the identification documents required by law and by applicable due diligence duties;
- Use the address exclusively for lawful purposes and within the declared activity;
- Immediately notify the cessation of activity, dissolution or change of registered office.
9. Termination
On termination for any reason, the client undertakes to change the registered office and tax domicile with the Commercial Registry and the Tax Authority within the period set out in the contract, and may no longer use the address in any medium, including invoices, website and promotional material.
10. Liability
MyOffice Online is responsible for the diligent safekeeping of mail it actually receives. It is not liable for loss, delay or damage attributable to postal operators, nor for the content of the mail, nor for the consequences of failure to collect within the applicable period.
11. Data protection
The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. In consumer disputes, the client may use the Portuguese online complaints book at www.livroreclamacoes.pt and the competent alternative dispute resolution bodies. For all other matters, the courts of Madeira have exclusive jurisdiction.
13. Prevailing version
These terms are provided in Portuguese and English. In the event of any discrepancy between versions, the Portuguese version prevails.
